This time of year, New Braunfels is brimming with holiday festivities. From Wassailfest to the Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting, there is no shortage of seasonal cheer. This year, we’d like to share a few photos from Town Creek Co-Founder, Trace Jurica’s Christmas Open House.
Over the past several decades, New Braunfels’ schools have earned several awards, recognized on both state and federal levels for excellence. Recently, our local educational system has been presented with another merit: a gold medal from the Texas Comptroller’s Leadership Conference.
Founders’ Oak was recently designated as a Famous Tree of Texas by the Texas Forest Service. In recognition of this award, a community celebration will be held at Founders’ Oak on August 4th, 2012 at 9:00 am.
Town Creek is a new downtown neighborhood.
Locals Trace and Shawn Jurica founded Town Creek in June 2006 with the idea of adding to Downtown in a way that respects the history and character of their hometown.
